Adri @ School (August 2011 Part 1)

Amongst all the learning outcomes, I thought the outcome of learning how to transfer liquid was really interesting. Adri was given the wide exposure of experiencing wet transfer ie transferring of liquids through the use of a syringe, a ladle, a sponge as well as a dropper!
I thought that was really cool! There was a whole lot of extension and reinforcement of the concept of "Transferring".
Kudos, teachers! For the effort put in!

Alongside, Adri also did wet pouring into a bottle and into a bottle with indicator with the use of a funnel. A further extension to the concept of transferring, Adri also transferred liquid from one bottle into another and from one to two same bottles. :D

Other highlights of this month include a field trip to the National Library (Sengkang) that provided Adri with a first experience of borrowing a book from a public library, a craft work on our national flag which introduced the key features of the Singapore flag and the making of props (shakers) for the national day celebration.
