We have been there for a good 2 years 4 months.
The preparation to shift started months ago and now that the buzz n rush of packing n shifting is finally over, its time to 'collect' some thoughts.
Was asking Mart what would be considered a significant event/events both for us and for our girls during our short yet meaning stint @ Bayou.
For Mart & I, the purchase of Bayou was a HUGE leap of faith that was filled with God's blessings and favour. We never thought we would ever move out of our Sengkang HDB.
For our girls, it is at Bayou that both Adri n Ashlynn gained water confidence and for Ashlynn, it is in this home that she spent her first 19+ months.
We got the girls to say goodbye. Ashlynn didnt seem to know what was happening n Adri simply uttered a charismatic n jolly 'Goodbye, house'. I'm nt sure if they'll rem or miss Bayou. Blog, to capture this precious phase of their growing up years.
What next? We bot a place just across the road. Til the key collection, it'll be us being at inlaws' place for a while.
My usually packed abode is now 'bare' after the major clean up.
